Philip majored in Performing Arts (acting as well as technical) at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Applying the skills he learned from acting and the technical field, Philip relocated to Houston, Texas, in 1981 and founded Magic Street Productions, a production company that offers the finest in professional family and corporate entertainment.
During Nabisco’s nation-wide search for their “UNLOCK THE MAGIC” promotion, Philip won both corporate and agency approval as one of four magicians for Houston and surrounding cities. Other major corporations like U.S. Sprint, March of Dimes, The Ford Motor Company, St. Louis Music Supply Company, Nabisco, Barnes & Nobel, Border Books, Kid’s Directory and many more have used Philip’s talents to promote their products and services and to entertain clients. Philip has dedicated his career as a professional magician to provide the very best in Magical Entertainment, and his creditability as a professional for over 30 years proves that he has succeeded in reaching that goal. In October of 2000 Philip was featured and stared as Mordred the Wizard at the Sword and Crown Restaurant for Astro World’s (Six Flags) Fright Fest performing over 28 shows for the month for over 120,000 people. In 2013, 2014 & 2015 Mordred performed at The Texas Renaissance Festival and in 2013 at Sherwood Forest Faire
In 2008 Philip added an assistant to his Dove act, and in 2011 she was replaced by the lovely Lindsey Olson. In January of 2008, he debuted as the main headliner at Houston’s Famed Magic Island, performing his Dove Act and Comedy magic with Ariana, and returned several times that year for a total of a 14-week run performing 3 to 4 shows a night.

In 2011 Philip and Lindsey headlined at Houston’s Improv Comedy Club. In 2013 Philip auditioned and got the job at The Texas Renaissance Festival performing in the lanes as Mordred the Maji. And returned in 2014 & 2015 and will be back for the 2016 season with Lindsey as Morgana LeFey.
In 2014 Philip and Lindsey were one of five featured acts for the Texas Renaissance Festivals new King Midas Masquerade Ball. Their new Characters were Nazir Ali the Geni and Lamia the Demon Queen.
