Mr. Phil's Magic for Kids

After School Enrichment Classes/Parents!

Phil Kampf has been teaching for several HISD after school programs for many years and if your school offers an after school program Mr. Phil's Beginning Magic for Kids would be a great addition to your curriculum for students 2nd. grade and up. 

Classes are held once a week for one hour and the children will be taught the basics in slight of hand magic. The classes include a little history of magic, exercises for the hand, basic slights that require at home practice.  Reading/comprehension, multitask thinking, fine motor skill development and many other side benefits to the student.

The same course taught at the schools will be taught in my magic studio at my residence.  This is a one hour per week class.  At home practice is a must! For more information on the Saturday Morning Classes call me.

     The magic that will be covered includes:

• Sponge Ball Magic,
• Coin and money magic,
• Card magic,
• Two Card Monte (a very easy but bewildering trick) 
• The classic Cups and Ball  

 In addition to learning the slights required to perform the above the student will learn show structure, presentation, how to practice.

A minimum of 10 students is required to make a class and the cutoff is at 25 students.  If more students sign up then a second hour would be added.  

The cost is $12.50 hour per student per week. A supply fee of $70.00 per students, that includes all the magic supplies, a DVD of all the magic that will be covered. Parents are required to purchase the case for supplies on their own..
